Biography:
“ The role of a social worker is to work themselves out of a job.” This is what Hannah strives for when
meeting with clients to utilize their own strengths and skills to help with difficult periods in their
life. Hannah strives to creating a safe, judgement free environment where clients feel comfortable,
supported, and heard.
Hannah is a licensed clinical social worker who received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State
University and went on to receive her master’s degree from Columbia University in Social work. Hannah
has worked in residential facilities, school-based and outpatient with diverse populations as well as age
ranges. Hannah has worked with families to help with implementing behavioral plans and building
connections with each other. Hannah has worked with acute childhood trauma in children and chronic
trauma with adults. Hannah has worked with children to help with strengthen their emotional IQ, stress
related to school and understanding friendships. Hannah has worked with children with stress related to
separation and has worked with adults with understanding generational trauma. Hannah has worked
with adults and children utilizing CBT and DBT skills as well as anger management. Hannah has worked
with acute trauma and as well as chronic trauma in children and adults. Hannah has worked with
children as young as five years old and elderly populations regarding anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.
